Overview
The Amalfi Coast is an oasis of natural wonders as well as a paradise for the palate. In this sun-kissed land, the grapevine grew luxuriantly and mozzarella is divinely delicious.
Together with an expert local guide and sommelier, we will bring you in an uncontaminated valley of the Amalfi Coast to enjoy local delights. You will enter into a local Cheese Factory to understand how the dairy production works and how fresh milk is turned into cheese, ricotta and mozzarella. Let’s give it a try at making mozzarella, wear the gloves, immerse your hands into the water, stretch the curd and hand-chop the mozzarella. After the practical experience, you will taste mozzarella and other dairy products.
The second stop-over will be at a local winery. Hectares covered with centennial grapevines, where ancient traditions are sustained by hard work. You will walk through 300/500-year-old vineyards and visit an old cellar of the XVII century. Then, you will taste a light lunch made with products grown directly by the winery owners, it will be paired with a guided tasting of DOC wine of the Amalfi Coast.
